Musk said he will create his own PHONE brand if Twitter is taken off Apple and Google’s platforms.

The CEO of Tesla has stated that he will pursue this course of action “if there is no other choice” for his platform.

In response to the conservative podcaster Liz Wheeler, he made the announcement about the potential business concept on Twitter.

Wheeler advised Musk to “build his own smartphone” in the event that Apple and Google removed Twitter from their respective app stores.

As a reaction, the CEO of SpaceX posted the following message on Twitter: “I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, I will make an alternative phone if there is no other choice.”

His message garnered more than 400,000 likes from users of the social media platform Twitter.

The following may be found in the continuation of Wheeler’s post: “Half the country would cheerfully leave the prejudiced, snooping iPhone and Android,” Wheeler’s tweet added.

She continued by saying, “The man constructs rockets to Mars, so a foolish little smartphone should be easy, right?”

Musk, who calls himself a “absolutist” on the subject of free expression, has publicly stated his opposition to bans placed on Twitter accounts and, more recently, has reversed the ban placed on the handle of former President Donald Trump.

Since the billionaire’s purchase to own the network was made official the previous month, a significant number of advertisers have pulled their ads from Twitter.

As a direct consequence of this, Musk has fired over half of the employees working at Twitter.

He contends that this is causing the corporation to experience financial difficulties.

Concerns have also been raised regarding the absence of content monitoring on the platform and the reinstatement of users who had previously been prohibited from using it since Musk took control of it.

Additionally, the billionaire created a paid verification subscription for the app, which required users to pay a monthly fee in order to receive the blue check mark next to their Twitter handle.

However, issues surfaced quite quickly when a number of users attempted to mimic notable personalities on the network with the verification check. As a direct result of these issues, the program was suspended.

Musk even went so far as to ask users of Twitter on Wednesday whether they think the company should provide “amnesty to suspended accounts” as long as the accounts in question did not violate any laws or participate in “egregious spam.”

In response to his survey, he sent out a tweet that read: “The voice of the people has been heard. Amnesty begins next week, “after a vote in which slightly more than 72 percent of those who participated in the poll selected the option “yes.”

A week ago, he reinstated Trump’s account after another poll on Twitter revealed that a slim majority of users favored lifting the suspension placed on the former president.

These users stated that they want the ban to be lifted as soon as possible.
