How to Show Battery Percentage on iPhone 12
Before, the battery percentage of your iPhone was easily visible in the status bar. Now, you can easily see how much power your phone has left by just toggling the battery indicator in Settings. It also helps to use Siri to get the percentage of battery life.
To toggle the battery indicator on iPhone 12, go to Settings and then Control Center. Then, press the battery icon to toggle on the battery indicator. If you do not see it, tap Siri to get the percentage of battery life.
Widgets
One of the easiest ways to check battery percentage on your iPhone is by adding a widget to the Home Screen. To do so, open your Widget Gallery, and long-press on a blank area.
Tap on the plus (+) button to open the Widget Gallery. Type “batteries” in the search field, and then scroll down to find and select Batteries widget.
Unless you have an Apple accessory, the widget in the first style will not show the percentage. To add the battery percentage widget permanently, choose the second or third style.
The second way to view battery information is by activating Siri. When you want to access Siri, press the Side button on your iPhone. Siri will display the battery percentage as a widget on your screen.
If you are running iOS 14 on your iPhone, you can also activate the battery percentage widget, which comes pre-loaded with the phone. You can also add a widget for any other connected Apple device in the iOS settings.
Control Center
iPhone users may wonder how Control Center shows battery percentage on iPhone 12. The screen area of the iPhone 12 is limited by the camera notch, so the battery icon and percentage are not visible in the Home screen.
In the Control Center, you can tap the battery icon and view the current battery percentage. The battery icon can be overridden in Control Center.
Some apps may be displaying a gradual reduction of frames as they refresh in the background. To resolve these issues, try to reload the app.
If you’re unsure how to find the battery percentage widget, you can search for it on the App Store. In the Control Center, find the widget labeled “Batteries.” You can add it in any of the three sizes, with the small widget taking up four app spaces.
Drag it to the location where you want to display it, or tap “Add Widget.” The small widget will only show the current battery percentage, while the medium and large widgets will show the remaining battery percentage for the connected Bluetooth devices.
Siri
If you’re wondering how Siri shows battery percentage on iPhone 12, you’ve come to the right place. The ability to ask Siri for the current battery status is now available on the iPhone 12. You can also add this information to Control Center, which you can access by swiping up from the bottom of your screen. Once you’ve added it, simply tap the + icon in the top right corner to add it to your Today View.
The Control Center, which is located in the top right corner of the screen, is also where you can get the current battery percentage.
You can use the Control Center to adjust the brightness of your screen, turn off Wi-Fi, and other useful features. However, Apple removed the control center feature in the iPhone 12s.
You can still ask Siri to display the battery percentage, but it won’t be in Control Center.
Lock screen
The iPhone 12 comes with a unique feature called “charging on screen” that shows the battery percentage when the device is plugged in. If you’d like to show the battery percentage on the lock screen, there are several ways to do it.
You can configure the charging screen so that it always shows the percentage, or you can turn on the feature by pressing the side button and asking Siri to read the battery status for you.
In iOS 12, the battery icon replaces the date and time on the lock screen. You can add the widget to Today View and pin it. The widget will show the battery percentage for all connected devices.
If you don’t want to use Control Center, you can simply ask Siri to give you the percentage. You can also turn on iOS Low Power Mode to increase your battery life. The new battery percentage is displayed when the device is charging.
